Official Rules and Regulations

1. WINNER
   All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply. Void where prohibited. By entering the Raffle, the individual acknowledges that he or she is aware of and is bound by all of the official raffle rules. Grand Prize Winner must agree to a photo and press release.


2. COST
   Each entry is one for $100.00 or 3 for $250


3. DRAWINGS:
   All mail and phone entries must be received by 3:00 PM (EST) November 19, 2010 or in person on November 20, 2010 to be eligible for this drawing. Drawing takes place on April 23, 2010 at Ursuline Academy, 5535 Pfeiffer Road, Cincinnati, OH 45242. Winner need not be present to win. If 1000 or fewer tickets are sold, Ursuline Academy reserves the right to offer split-the-pot (winner receives 50% of all raffle tickets sales) to the first place winner. The fourty-nine additional cash prizes may receive $100. We have never had to cancel a raffle and have always paid out in full to date.


4. PRIZES:
   The winner of the Grand Prize (GPW) is entitled to $25,000, 2nd: $10,000, 3rd: $5,000 4th - 8th: $1000, 9th - 18th: $500, 19th- 30th : $200, 39th- 50th: $100


5. Weekly accounting reports, detailing receipts and ticket numbers
   will be certified by Barnes Denning.


6. The drawing will be held at Ursuline Academy,
   5535 Pfeiffer Road on November 20, 2010.


7. You need not be present to win.


8. Winners will be drawn in the following order - first prize, second,
   third, etc. After all 50 envelopes have been drawn,
   a representative will open each and announce the winner's name beginning with No. 50 and working backwards to No. 1. The top winner will be announced at the conclusion of the November 20, 2010 event.


9. NOTIFICATION OF WINNER:
   All winners will be notified via mail, email, or phone and any requisite procedures to claim the prize. If a selected winner is unable to be contacted or located after a period of 30 days from the draw date of the raffle, the prize or its cash equivalent will be deemed to have been donated to Ursuline Academy for its use. All contact attempts shall be made to the address and email address provided by the raffle ticket purchaser. All winners, by entering, authorize Ursuline Academy to publish their name and a photo on the school's promotional material.


10. TAXES AND IRS RULES:
    All winners shall be responsible for any and all federal, state and local income taxes, fees, assessments and like charges associated with the prizes. All cash prizes will be paid net of applicable income tax withholding. Government rules regarding withholding can change without notice. Ursuline Academy will follow the rules in effect at the time the prizes are awarded. The IRS has taken the position that amounts paid for chances to participate in raffles, lotteries or similar programs are not charitable gifts, and therefore, the price of entry does not qualify as a deductible charitable contribution.


11. Winners will assume and be responsible for all licensing, registration
    and other fees and local, state and federal taxes, including, without limitation, all applicable sales, use, luxury, income, special taxes and insurance. Applicable taxes will be withheld. A W-9 must be completed and signed within 2 weeks following the drawing date and be received by Ursuline Academy. If the winner of the 1st through 8th prize fails to deliver the W-9 for withholding prior to the date set forth in Paragraph 11, such winner will be deemed to have forfeited his or her prize.


12. Persons may share a ticket and more than one name may appear on the ticket. The numbered ticket will be sent to the first person listed on the entry.


13. We reserve the right to cancel this raffle, at any time, and return
    all proceeds from ticket sales to the rightful purchasers.



14. All decisions related to the conduct of the raffle will be made
    by the Big Green Raffle Committee, whose judgment on all matters
    will be final.
